Headway Fife
Fife Headway Group is a charitable organisation which offers support, to people who have sustained a brain injury from: a road traffic accident, assault, fall, sporting injury, haemorrhage, infection (e.g. meningitis, brain abscess), or metabolic e.g. impaired oxygen flow to the brain, which may result after a cardiac arrest.
In addition, the group offers support to family and professional carers, friends and families of a person with brain injury.
We have a group in Kirkcaldy
One Kirkcaldy group currently meets on the last Tuesday of every month (except December)
Venue; The Staff Club [on the corner of Hayfield Road and Dunniker Road] based in the grounds of the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy between 7.00pm - 9.00pm.
If required, Transport is available to all meetings
The group provides the opportunity for individuals to socialise with others who understand the difficulties that they may encounter on a daily basis.
Alternatively home visits can be arranged, which allow individuals to disclose and share information in the comfort of their own homes.
