Headway North Staffordshire
Headway House Day / Activity Centre for head injured people, providing a meeting place with facilities for improving social, domestic and educational skills. Also aims to provide support and daily respite for relatives.
General Information:
- Monday to Friday - 9am - 4pm.
- Referrals from Health and Social Services.
- Age group 18 - 64 years.
- Area covered - North Staffordshire.
- Disabled access, toilets and lift.
- Two course lunch available daily.
- Independent charity affiliated to and working with Headway the brain injury association.
Facilities include:
- Games room - full size snooker table, 2 pool tables, table tennis and darts.
- Large activities area, woodwork room, I.T. room, music room/ library / quiet room.
- Gymnasium & Physiotherapy Department
- Training kitchen and life skills area.
- Annual holiday and regular outings.
