Headway Somerset
Headway Somerset is a local, independent charity helping people across the county to live as independent a life as possible after brain injury. It promotes a wider understanding of all aspects of brain injury and provides information, support and services for people with brain injury. It also provides assistance in accessing and signposting other services as well as much needed respite care for family and carers.
Our Brain Injury Outreach Units providing centre based rehabilitation, are open two days a week - Tuesdays and Fridays - in Bridgwater, Henton (near Wells) and Yeovil. We also provide an Outreach Service that helps adults with acquired brain injury and their families to achieve long-term improvements in the quality of their lives. We achieve this through working with them in their own homes and developing links in their local community.
