Headway Devon
Headway Devon is an independent local charity working in partnership with Devon County Council Adult & Community Services to provide essential services to people in Devon with acquired brain injuries.
We provide services for children and adults with brain injuries, as well as their family members and carers.
We aim to rehabilitate and minimise/prevent social exclusion by means of the following services:
- Centre-based rehabilitation at six centres for adults in: Exeter, Exmouth, Honiton, Okehampton, Tiverton and Torquay, plus a children's centre in Exeter.
- Supporting People floating support programme
- Community Outreach service for children & adults
- Support for carers
- Training and Information service
- Campaigning and awareness raising
- Helpline
