Headway North Derbyshire
Headway North Derbyshire, formerly Headway Chesterfield, provides services and activities for people with brain injury and their carers across North Derbyshire. We produce a monthly newsletter and run an active calendar of social meetings usually on the 2nd Wednesday evening of each month. We meet at St. Michael's Church Hall, Brimington, Chesterfield, S43 1AB, from 7 to 9pm.
Our activities include complimentary therapy, games, craft groups and outdoor pursuits (weather permitting!). We also provide information and support, guidance booklets and signposting for further help.
The branch is actively campaigning for better services in North Derbyshire and contributes to the development of local services in the health service by participating in the local liaison group for the National Service Framework for Long Term Neurological Conditions.
