My story

In order to help educate society about brain injury, Headway relies on brave survivors who are prepared to tell their stories to the world in the hope that it may help others understand their own injuries, let people know they are not alone and generally raise awareness of brain injury.

The high number of calls received by our helpline suggests that the message really does get through, with many people calling to say that they recognise their own problems in case studies they have seen in the media and now understand why they have been struggling with life.
