Busy Action for Brain Injury Week planned at Headway Oxford

Headway Oxfordshire is planning a very busy ABI week, which takes place 14th - 20th May 2012.

Events include:

Saturday 12th May

5km Fun "Run" (walk, skate, jump, hop or wheel) through the beautiful Oxford University Parks. This is an annual event and very popular with staff, volunteers, service users and carers.

Sunday 13th May

Participation in the Dragon Boat Race on the River Thames at Abingdon, joining forces with local solicitors and supporters, Withy King, and perhaps other businesses.

Thursday 17th May

Charity Golf Day at Frilford Heath golf course - Oxfordshire's most prestigious golf course.

Friday 18th May

Hats for Headway of course - when we hope to engage the interest of the county's primary and secondary schools.

Charity of the Year

Finally, Oxford Castle Management Complex has adopted Headway Oxfordshire as their Charity of the Year, which will not only raise funds for our services, but raise the public awareness of Headway generally, and the need for support services for anyone affected by ABI.
