ESA assessments: We need your views!

08 November 2011

Have you applied for Employment and Support Allowance?
Have you undertaken the Work Capability Assessment?

The Work Capability Assessment was introduced as part of the application process for the new Employment and Support Allowance, which replaced Incapacity Benefit for people who are unable to work due to a disability. The assessment has been controversial, with some people feeling it doesn't take full account of complex conditions such as brain injury, leaving many people who are unable to work without this valuable source of income.

We need your views!

We'd like to gather the views of people who have been through the Work Capability Assessment, to get a better idea of the scale of the problem with brain injury survivors, and help us to campaign for positive changes to the benefits system.

If you have been through the Work Capability Assessment, please complete our short survey below and tell us your story.
