Even ‘moor’ money for Headway!

Challenge Baton holder Lyons Davidson is pulling out all the stops to achieve a record-breaking fundraising total for Headway.

With just a few weeks of the year left, the law firm's total stands at more than £40,000 and was added to by its recent efforts - a 30-mile march across Dartmoor and a spot of custard dunking.

A team of 15 brave walkers from the firm completed a treacherous 30-mile march over the tough terrain of Devon's famous national park. The hardy marchers raised more than £4,000 by completing the daunting trail, which is the final test route used to train Royal Marine Commandos.

Meanwhile, the fundraising back at the office was less muddy but just as messy as staff paid to take part in a company-wide vote to decide which one of them would be covered in custard. The tension was palpable as the result was announced - with Cyrene Aboy the unlucky winner.
