Social networking

Headway has created its own dedicated pages on the social networking sites Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

The pages are designed to raise awareness of brain injury and gain support for the vital work that we do. It is aimed at supporters of Headway both new and old and will provide visitors with up-to-date information on our latest fundraising and media news as well as providing links to interesting articles.

In addition, our Facebook page has a wall where visitors can post messages of support to one another and a discussion forum to enable people with an interest in brain injury to share their views. Our YouTube page allows you to subscribe to Headway's videos from a number of our events and conferences

With social networking sites fast becoming the most effective way to reach new audiences with your message, we hope you will help us make Headway's pages a success.

Things to consider...

If you are not currently a member of Facebook or Twitter, you will need to create your own profile before you can join our page. In YouTube, you will need to create an account to subscribe to our videos. Headway UK strongly urges people thinking of joining any of these sites to carefully consider the privacy settings. Both sites have a number of controls to allow users to dictate how much personal information is available to be seen by other users. These can be accessed through the Settings or Account link at the top of your Facebook, Twitter or YouTube page. If you are in any doubt, please seek advice.
