Understanding brain injury

The Course

This is a course aimed at professionals, carers and anyone interested in the issues related to sustaining and surviving traumatic brain injury. The course covers the anatomy and physiology of the brain, what happens in brain injury and the physical, cognitive and social consequences of brain injury for the individual, families and carers. The outcomes of the course are that delegates will understand some basic facts about the damaged brain and some techniques to use when communicating with people who are living with an acquired brain injury and their families/carers.

All of our open courses attract CPD points for solicitors.

All courses have a location and code, shown in the schedule below. Use the link at the bottom of this page to download a booking form. There is a £5.00 discount rate per delegate for bookings of four people or more. Each delegate must have their own booking form.
