1,200 km, over a million steps, 40 iconic locations — join the journey!

Andrew Jenkins, star of the BBC’s The Traitors series 2, and a brain injury survivor is embarking on The Big Trek—a monumental 1,200km walk across the UK to raise awareness and funds for Headway - the brain injury association.

Starting on September 29, 2024, from Ardross Castle in Scotland, Andrew will journey through all four nations, visiting iconic castles such as Lancaster Castle in England and Carrickfergus Castle in Northern Ireland, before concluding at Cardiff Castle in Wales.

Andrew has personal experience of being a brain injury survivor following a catastrophic car crash. After the near-fatal crash in 1999, he defied the odds, recovering from severe brain injuries that doctors believed would leave him permanently disabled. Today, he is using his platform to inspire others by sharing his journey and promoting the importance of mental health awareness and support for those impacted by brain injuries.
