This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK’s leading charity working to improve life after brain injury.

Headway is the UK-wide charity that supports people affected by brain injury. We’re seeking an enthusiastic and effective communicator to join our growing communications team. Reporting to the Press and Campaigns Manager, you will be responsible for handling media enquiries and generating positive press coverage on a national and local level.

You will also play an active role in helping the team develop and implement campaigns and initiatives designed to raise awareness of brain injury and improve services for those affected; assist in the drafting and production of the charity’s quarterly magazine, Headway News; and help further develop the charity’s social media channels.

Ideally, you will have two or three years’ experience working in PR or communications. However, if you are an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, excellent writing skills and a passion for working in the third sector, we’d like to hear from you.
