Introducing our exciting new training programme for 2024

Tue 09 Jan 2024

Headway delivers a range of online training courses focussing on a range of issues and effects of brain injury.

From tried and tested courses, to brand-new sessions, find the right course for you or your team.

We have courses available for those living with a brain injury, their families and professionals working within the brain injury field.  Our 2024 training programme has expanded this year to include three new courses.

Concetta Ventura, Approved Provider and Training Manager said:

Developing new Headway courses has been an incredible adventure. These courses support professionals, family members, care staff, and brain injury survivors in learning more about the hidden difficulties following brain injury and emphasise the importance of working towards improving and maximising quality of life.
Last year, we introduced a whole new project aimed at brain injury survivors co-hosted by one of our Associate Trainers, who has themselves sustained a brain injury. This session has provided a safe space where brain injury survivors can share their challenges and successes, ask questions, and connect. I felt honoured to be entrusted with hearing their stories, and getting feedback such as this:
“Listening to others having a brain injury too and learning that we all have things in common and being able to speak freely about how I feel to people that understand and will listen. You don't feel judged either, I felt valued and finished with a positive feeling. Concetta and Aiden were most informative and helpful and supportive too. Thank you so much.”
