Like most websites, ours uses cookies. This page explains what they are, which ones we use and why, and how you can change your choices at any time.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store on your device. They let the site remember things about your visit, such as the choices you have made. Some are set by us. Others are set by services from other companies that we use on our pages, such as YouTube videos or online forms.
Your choices
When you first visit our website we ask which types of cookies you are happy for us to use. Apart from strictly necessary cookies, nothing is set until you agree. You can accept them all, reject them all or choose type by type.
You can change your mind at any time: change your cookie settings, or use the cookie button in the bottom left corner of every page.
The types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
These are needed for the website to work and cannot be switched off. They remember your cookie choices and keep forms secure. They do not store anything that identifies you.
Service | Cookies | Set by |
|---|---|---|
Headway website: your cookie choices | CookieConsent | Headway (first party) |
Headway website: form security | .AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* | Headway (first party) |
Functional cookies
These let us show online forms provided by other companies. If you do not allow them, we show a link to open the form in a new tab instead.
Service | Cookies | Set by |
|---|---|---|
FormAssembly forms (for example membership and contact forms) | AWSALB, AWSALBCORS, AWSALBTG, AWSALBTGCORS, FORMASSEMBLY | FormAssembly (third party) |
Wufoo forms (for example mailing list and training forms) | ep201, ep202, ep203, attr_multitouch | Wufoo (third party) |
Performance cookies
These help us understand how people use our website, such as which pages are visited most, so we can improve it. The information is collected anonymously.
Service | Cookies | Set by |
|---|---|---|
Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager | _ga, _ga_ZJ5WQ1RD24 | Google (third party) |
If you do not allow performance cookies, Google Analytics may still record that a page was visited, without setting any cookies or identifying you, so that we can estimate overall visitor numbers.
Targeting cookies
These are set by video and audio services on our pages. They may be used to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant content or adverts on other websites. If you do not allow them, we show a link to watch or listen on the service's own website instead.
Service | Cookies | Set by |
|---|---|---|
YouTube videos | YSC, VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, VISITOR_PRIVACY_METADATA, __Secure-ROLLOUT_TOKEN | YouTube (third party) |
SoundCloud audio | sc_anonymous_id, datadome, ddSession_datadome, dd_testcookie | SoundCloud (third party) |
SoundCloud players added within page text also need performance cookies.
Services that do not set cookies

|---|---|
Google Maps | Shows our maps of local groups, branches and services. It does not store anything on your device, but your browser connects to Google to show the map. |
Adobe Fonts | Provides the typeface used on our headings. |
Eye-Able | Our accessibility toolbar. It only stores your display settings on your device when you open it and change them. |
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the website may not work.
