Our Headway UK shops are always looking for high-quality, clean and saleable items to sell in our stores.

You can donate your items by simply dropping them off at your local Headway shop or calling 0115 924 0800.

Here are some of the items you might want to donate

• Clothing and accessories of all sizes

• Shoes and handbags

• Books

• DVDs, CDs and vinyl records

• Homeware and decorative items

• Crafting items

• Toys and games

• Small electrical items

• Collectable, vintage and antique items

• Small furniture items (in some shops only – check your local shop)

Your donation check-list

Your donated item(s) should be:

• Clean and in good condition

• Complete

• Safe

• Legal

We’re so grateful for every donation, however there are some items we can’t accept. Items that are broken, dirty, heavily stained, excessively worn or otherwise unsaleable mean we have to pay for disposal.

For safety, legal and practical reasons, items we can’t accept the following items:

Age Restricted / Prohibited

• Alcohol

• Tobacco and vaping products

• Knives and offensive weapons

• Fireworks

Safety & Compliance

• Upholstered furniture without fire labels

• Child car seats

• Bicycle helmets

• Damaged electricals

• Safety equipment with unknown history

• Gas appliances

• Recalled products

• Combat sports items

Hygiene Reasons

• Used mattresses

• Opened cosmetics

• Used underwear and swimwear (unless new with tags)

Other Items We Cannot Sell

• Medicines and medical equipment

• Hazardous chemicals, paints and solvents

• Counterfeit goods
