Further information

If you would like to get involved please come down to our drop-in between 1 and 3pm on  Wednesdays in the Basement at The Heatons Centre,(Stockport Signpost for Carers), Thornfield Road, off Balmoral Rd, Heaton Moor, Stockport SK4 3LD and introduce yourself to one our volunteer helpers.
Parking and the entrance is by a ramp (behind hedge) at the rear of the building which is right next to the Heatons Library.

Alternatively you can come to one of our monthly meetings; they're usually on the third Thursday evening each month, at The Heatons, First Floor (NB NOT in the basement-there is a lift), Thornfield Road, off Balmoral Rd, Heaton Moor, Stockport, SK4 3LD at 7.30 pm. Please press the Conference room buzzer if no one is at the door to let you in.

There is no membership fee or charge for attending the Wednesday drop-in meeting, although sometimes we have to collect contributions towards the costs of outings when this can be managed by members. New members need to be accompanied by someone who knows them well on their first four visits and after that we review the need for this, which may have to be ongoing, as we don’t provide care. A basic registration form has to be filled in including contact details etc.
