About the Trainers

Concetta Ventura is the Approved Provider and Training Manager at Headway – the brain injury association, supporting its mission to improve life after brain injury. She has experience working with brain injury survivors and their families across hospital, rehabilitation, and community settings in both Italy and the UK. Her academic background includes a Master’s degree in Neuropsychology and Cognitive Rehabilitation from the University of Padua and a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from Birkbeck, University of London.

Aidan Price In 2011 Aidan slipped and hit his head; he was rushed to a specialist brain injury hospital, where he spent 5 weeks in a coma. Upon waking his recovery started, he spent 3 months undergoing rehabilitation in hospital, where he had to learn to walk again. Just under two years later Aidan began a phased return to work and after almost 5 months he’s pleased to be working full time. Aidan now delivers a number of talks on behalf of Headway.

Training Description

This 60-minute session has been created specifically for brain injury survivors, it will explore the hidden effects of brain injury and the rehabilitation journey.

This structured, conversational session is specifically designed for brain injury survivors only. We kindly request that care staff and professionals do not join, as this space is intended to support personal experiences and needs.

If you are a brain injury survivor and have registered but can no longer attend, please cancel your registration as soon as possible to allow others the opportunity to participate.
