Matched Giving A Matched Giving, or Match Funding scheme is when an organisation matches the amount an employee donates or fundraises for their chosen charities up to a set level.
Many companies will have a Matched Giving scheme generally speaking:
- Banks and building societies
- Insurance companies
- Utility providers
- Phone companies
- Supermarkets
Find out how it works and what you need to do
Ask your employer / HR colleagues if they have a Matched Giving Scheme. If they do they will provide you with a form to complete.
If your employer doesn’t Match Give already
Ask them if they would consider matching the fundraising you have been doing. Or if they’d consider setting up a Matched Giving scheme for the organisation paving the way for many more charities to receive support.
