Headway prepares to reopen charity shops

Mon 29 Jun 2020

We are pleased to announce that Headway - the brain injury association is putting plans in place to reopen its charity shops.

Our primary concern is the safety and well being of our staff, volunteers and customers. We will be updating our website with individual shop opening information as soon as they reopen.

There is considerable background work to be undertaken to allow us to open safely. All appropriate safety measures will be adopted in line with government guidelines.

Once open, we’ll be accepting donations as usual, but please don’t leave donations outside closed shops as this may be regarded as fly-tipping. Donated items will be isolated for 72 hours and cleaned before going on sale.

For the safety of our staff, volunteers and customers we would prefer contactless payments.

We may adjust opening times to allow for deep cleaning of the shops, so it is advisable to phone ahead before making a special journey.

Thank you for your previous support and we look forward to welcoming you back into our stores.
