Sunday, April 27 was an unusually warm day- especially if you were running a marathon!
But the heat didn’t put off Headway’s London Marathon team of 29 runners, who hit the streets for 26.2 miles for one of the world’s most famous marathon challenges.
This year the team raised an incredible total of £88,319 to help support our work. That’s enough to fund over 4,000 calls to Headway’s free nurse-led helpline, enabling a survivor, loved one, or professional to receive specialist advice at any stage of brain injury.
