About the Trainer

Dr Sharose Hussain is a clinician and Associate Training Manager, Headway UK. He has a multidisciplinary background in medicine, neuroscience, and psychology. He has extensive experience working across inpatient and acute settings, including with individuals with neurological and neurosurgical conditions. His approach is grounded in the belief that education is power, using knowledge to support better outcomes in clinical practice

Training Description

This CPD Certified session has been designed for care professionals, rehabilitation support workers, local authorities and those working with brain injury survivors.

During this session, we will aim to give delegates a better understanding of brain injury and its effects on survivors and their carers/families.

We will then explore the cognitive, emotional and behavioural difficulties individuals face following a brain injury and some strategies that can be implemented.
