Understanding brain injury training
We are currently delivering digital sessions of our Understanding brain injury training using Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) can affect any aspect of someone's functioning. This interactive workshop will give delegates a solid foundation knowledge of brain injury and its effects on the survivor and their carers/family.
It will look at normal anatomy and physiology of the brain in a simple, clear, easy to understand way to allow delegates to understand some of the possible consequences when these structures are injured.
It not only goes through mechanisms, classifications and causes of brain injury but enables the delegates to work more effectively with survivors by developing strategies to enable them to work effectively with people who have a brain injury.
Delegates will be better able to empathise with some of the common difficulties experienced by people after a brain injury and reflect on simple strategies they can implement to improve their working practices.
This one day course is available for £95 + VAT per delegate.
Alternatively for larger groups of up to 15 delegates we are able to deliver the training directly to your organisation. With these sessions we can also look to tailor the contents slightly to meet any learning outcomes you are hoping to achieve. These sessions are priced at £1,200 + VAT.
Please contact Sam Clarke on firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Our digital training sessions have been divided into two half day sessions and will be held on the dates below:
Delegates will be required to attend both sessions in order receive a certificate of attendance.
