Alexa Charnley
Alexa joined Headway-the brain injury association as a trustee in October 2023. Alexa is the Fundraising and Communications Director of the Mental Health Foundation. Alexa has worked in fundraising and marketing roles within the charity sector for 17 years and has previously worked for Save the Children UK and Cancer Research UK.
Alexa is the carer of a family member who has an acquired brain injury and has joined Headway with the aim of utilising her charity fundraising experience to support Headway’s mission of improving life after brain injury.
Outside of work, Alexa is Chair of Governors of a North London Primary School and spends the rest of her time with her family, and enjoys reading, and taking her dog for walks in the woods.
