We organise quarterly evening social events in Leeds for brain injury survivors, carers and family members. We also welcome interested professionals. We have occasional educational events.

Headway Leeds is run by a small committee of volunteers who are carers, survivors and interested professionals. We concentrate on organising a monthly social for members usually on the first Thursday evening of each month in Leeds with the aim of giving each other support and trying to reduce the isolation unpaid carers and survivors can feel. All socials are held in accessible venues. Unfortunately, we have no paid staff or day services as we do not receive any funding and rely on donations from individuals and our own fundraising efforts. 


Membership is free. If you have a brain injury or are an unpaid carer, family member or professional and would like to attend our socials please complete the relevant Membership form (see Related Resources).


Headway Leeds is unable to provide respite or care support. Anyone requiring support to attend our activities will need to ensure that they have a carer with them.
