Employment and education after brain injury

This section has been written for anyone who has had a brain injury and wishes to return to employment or education. The content is also intended to be helpful to employers as well as the families, friends and carers of people with a brain injury.

Image showing colleagues working togetherIn some cases, returning to work isn't possible and it is important to remember that being able to have an enjoyable and balanced life is the most important thing. Research has shown that people who regularly engage in activity after brain injury have a greater level of both psychological and physical well-being and activity doesn't have to be employed work. Pursuing leisure and social activities can be just as important.
